YOUTH PROGRAMMING

Each of our programs is geared for all kids in the community and it is our hope that your children and their friends will be able to join us.

For the year 2009/2010, we are pleased to provide another full lineup of high spirited, youth programs for students of all ages from JK through High School.  Get ready for a great year of teaching and learning.  Check it out and plan to join us.

ONE WAY CLUB - Wednesday Evenings October to April

Primary program for kids age JK to Grade 5

6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Registration Fee:  $20.00

One Way Club is a unique balance of high energy ativity and singing followed by a time of teaching and quiet learning.  Club members are challenged to focus their attention on the loving God of the Bible in all that they do and say, and to really learn to trust Him.  One Way Club is committed, through the care and attention of our dynamic leadership teams, to helping kids discover The Way, by exploring the eternal truths and values found in the Bible.

One Way Club's activities include:  Game Time; Restroom, Snack and Singing; Bible Story/Lesson; Craft Time.  Special events, such as the Skating Party and the Christmas Party, are held throughout the year and usually take the place of Game Time or the Bible Lesson.  Bible Lessons have been structured to focus on the Old Testament for the first half of the year, and the New Testament during the second half of the year.  Monthly memory verses and memory projects (i.e. Lord's Prayer, Psalm 23) are provided to each child. 

 
ENDEAVOURS - Thursday Evenings October to May

Junior High program for youth grades 6-8

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Registration Fee:  $20.00

Endeavours is a time of sports and games to develop your physical skills while learning the disciplines of teamwork and good sportsmanship; a chance to meet lots of new and exciting people your age who really understand you and your interests; a place where you'll be challenged to understand the life and love of Jesus Christ as you explore the truths and values found in the Bible; a place where committed and caring leaders come together to bring you a time in your life you will never forget!

Endeavours activities each Thursday night include Game Time, Refreshments, Bible Lesson and Games/Social Time.  Once a month the group participates in an outing such as Laser Quest, Go-Karting, Indoor Roller Blading, and a Winter Retreat in February.  Bible lessons are designed to deal with life issues with a basis in Biblical story examples. 

LIFESAVER'S -  Friday Evenings October to June

Senior High Program for High School students

7:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Registration Fee:  $20.00

LifeSaver's Begins with Jesus Christ and Starts with Teenagers Who Want to Know Him!

The LifeSaver's group participates in different activities each Friday of the month, including organized games and sports, socializing, well-organized and clear Bible Study and prayer time, Servanthood (assisting people within our congregation in need of help, volunteering as a group at a variety of organization like Yonge Street Mission, Scott Mission, Urban Promise, Matthew House, etc.) and outings including Laser Quest, Indoor Beach Volleyball, Go-Karting and Sega City.  Various special events are held throughout the year, including a retreat at MBC, get-togethers with other Youth Groups, Family Day and Passage & Praise Services.
