In John 6, Jesus made a phenomenal claim. He referred to Himself as the Bread of God, a phrase used to describe not only the manna that miraculously fell from heaven during the wilderness wanderings, but was also used to describe the 12 loaves of bread that were on the table of showbread that the priests would eat on every Sabbath
