Using our website

Welcome to our new virtual home! This website contains a lot of new features that were not available to us before. Our old website was built by volunteers and was difficult to maintain. Our new website will be simple to maintain. We will try to stay on top of news and events.

Here are some features that you can use immediately.

1. Do you see the little orange icon in the upper right hand corner of the Events and News panels?
   Firefox web browser users can click on those icons to be prompted to add a live bookmark. If you click OK, your browser will check with the church website for current News or Event items and you can stay current with news and events.
   Internet Explorer users can click the icons and 'subscribe' to a news feed when the news or events 'feed' page opens.   This way you will see new news and events for our church even when your browser isn't running.
   
2. At the bottom of our home page there will be a different Bible verse daily. Why not make it a habit (if you don't have that habit yet) to meditate there for a few moments?
   
3. Under the menu item, Home you will notice a sign-in feature. Use this to see items that eventually may not be for the public to view (such as in house activities  or the church directory).   Department heads have the potential to able to update their own sections of the church website.
   We encourage church members to create their own sign-in accounts - use the 'Sign Up' link on the Home menu to do this.
